The transition to motherhood is a vulnerable time in a woman's life. While it can be joyful it can also be stressful and life-changing. You are not alone and talking with a professional can be helpful during this challenging time. If you are pregnant and struggling with complications or pregnancy after loss, I am here for you. If you are a new mother who is overwhelmed and anxious, I have been there too and can support you on your journey. If you are a mom, of a toddler, who is angered easily we can work together to help you feel like yourself again. Reaching out is the first step.
I have been working with families in various settings for over 25 years. In the past 20 years I have helped thousands of expecting and new mothers adjust to their new role and ease the transition to motherhood. At KM Therapy for Moms I provide tele-therapy which offers convenience, accessibility and safety for clients living in RI and MA.
I provide a supportive and compassionate environment where we work together to improve your mood, manage your worries, and learn strategies to cope with the stress you are experiencing. I use a range of therapeutic techniques such as CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and mindfulness to help clients feel better and enjoy new motherhood.
