I prioritize creating a safe environment where challenges and emotions can be openly explored. In my work with couples, I operate from an emotionally focused lens to help partners be accessible, responsive, and engaged with one another as they uncover the emotional underpinnings of their interactions. With individuals, I often use techniques from acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), internal family systems (IFS), and narrative therapy. I help individuals cultivate curiosity, compassion, and confidence as they navigate life’s challenges.
When you come in, I will meet you where you are and together we can create an individualized plan to help you reach your goals. I'm happy to answer any questions you might have about the counseling process and let you get a feel for if counseling would be a good fit.
I currently work at White Pine Family Counseling and offer both in person and online sessions out of our office in Rexburg.
