When couples commit their lives to one another, their hopes often center on connection, intimacy, and partnership. Yet, those desires can fade into disconnection and resentment. I am trained in Focus on the Family’s Focus Marital Therapy (FMT), which I integrate with Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the gold standard of couples counseling. I am passionate about helping couples—whether struggling, engaged, or simply seeking a tune-up—move toward deeper connection.
As a pre-licensed marriage and family therapist, I also support families in finding balance and lasting change, particularly when one member is symptomatic. My passion for relational wellness extends to individuals as well, offering empathetic care and Walk and Talk Therapy for those who prefer an outdoor setting.
I practice under the supervision of Deborah Torell, MA, LMFT, LPC (License number: 001195). I hold a psychology degree from Middle Georgia State University and a master’s in marriage and family therapy from Toccoa Falls College.
