My name is Kisa Pentarek, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. I think my greatest strength as a provider is that I have experienced hard times. I haven't just read books or learned treatments or the right things to say about certain situations or issues. In addition to those things, I have felt and lived through difficult things. This gives me a level of understanding that cannot just be learned but must be experienced. I operate from a place of kindness for everyone. I believe we all need more kindness for ourselves and especially for others. I also understand that we (including me) are all human.
I love working with a variety of clients. I will see children up through adulthood. I have a lot of experience working with all types of clients at all stages and transitions of life. From anxiety, ADHD, autism, depression, and every diagnosis in between, I believe we can find a way to help clients move forward and feel like they are in a more positive place
I think (and hope) most of my clients would say they feel comfortable. This is not a doctor's appointment. I hope people are able to remove their masks and be authentically themselves with me in sessions. I want clients to feel heard, to feel validated, and to feel empowered.
