My philosophy derives from the holistic, humanistic, positive psychology approach that integrates the emotional, social, and physical state of individuals through movement and art. I wish to advocate for equity in my work through supporting individuals in ways that are imaginative, strengths based, and developmentally appropriate; while also being open-minded, inclusive and considerate of experiences and other cultures.
I am a Registered Dance/Movement Therapist through the American Dance Therapy Association (ADTA). This gives me the opportunity to invite you to try movement directives into a session. Utilizing dance will help in sessions improve emotional comprehension, processing through somatic work, emotional, and social comprehension.
