"My greatest reward as a therapist is helping my clients explore ways to make the changes in their lives that will allow them to look forward to the future with hope. I believe that we all need someone to talk with who will really listen and accept us as we are, without judgment. I provide my clients with that warm, nonjudgmental environment-a safe place to explore the issues that may be preventing you from living the life you want. I've been told by clients that I am "annoyingly optimistic" but that I also "tell it like it is." I expect you to be the "driver" of your therapy while I navigate and provide various paths for you.
I know that a lot of people are over-scheduled and unable to conform to weekly in person therapy sessions. For that reason, I try to be flexible by providing services in a variety of formats and outside of standard office hours. I have a coping skills instagram: Anxiety_cards to help people learn coping skills from the convenience of their phone.
Some patients may need a higher level of care than typical once a week or biweekly therapy sessions. For those patients, you may require my services and availability for on-call or round-the-clock care.
