Are you a parent, adult, or teen who has faced anxiety, panic, depression, mood swings, obsessions, attention problems, or impulsivity? You or your loved one may have had urges to harm themselves or had problems making or keeping healthy relationships. Do you wonder if you or your loved one is developing a personality that negatively affects their ability to succeed at work, in school, or in social situations? I help clients live a life they experience as Worth Living, teaching coping skills to deal with life’s stressors one moment at a time.

I provide adherent DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) for children & adults. This means I provide individual DBT therapy sessions, DBT phone and text coaching in-between individual sessions, and DBT group skills classes, and I meet every week with my DBT Consultation Team of therapists to coordinate all of this care so that it works for you.

Please don’t give up! DBT is a wonderful, life-changing therapy. You will learn and practice skills one week at a time to help you live a life that you experience as worthwhile and fulfilling. It starts with an initial intake appointment to learn how DBT works and whether it is a good fit for you. Please give me a call to begin this incredible journey.

DBT Pre-teen Coping Skills Group Classes

Our DBT-C (Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Children) coping skills class meets for one hour per week to teach children skills for tolerating difficult situations, paying attention to feelings, getting along with others, and changing their mood and behavior. Kids learn these coping skills in a fun, group setting that includes indoor and outdoor mindfulness exercises, games and activities. Lessons are printed on handouts that kids can show to their parents and therapists. There are 2 therapists in each class, and we collaborate our care with your child's individual therapist and other providers to coordinate the best care possible.
