About
Kirsten Griggs is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 23 years of experience. She received her Bachelor's degree at Utah State University and then received her Master's of Education in Counseling Psychology from Brigham Young University. Since 1994, Kirsten has been working as a mental health counselor. She worked as a school counselor at Sugar-Salem School District and after that went to work for the State of Idaho with The Department of Juvenile Corrections (DJC). She worked in the capacity of a clinician and then as a Clinical Supervisor working with adolescents with a variety of mental health and legal issues.
Kirsten has extensive experience working with children and adolescents and is skilled in art and play therapy. She also has years of experience working with adults and couples and sees clients with a variety of issues including depression and other mood disorders, anxiety disorders, low self-esteem, trauma recovery, divorce recovery and relationship issues.
