For real... I love working with people experiencing relationship problems, depression, anxiety and traumatic experiences that are holding them back. Why? Because I see those things get better everyday and that's awesome. Deeper connection, peace, fulfillment, creating a life you love, all possible. Counseling can make an enormous difference when facing adversity. It awakens courage and enhances wisdom, allowing more ease and intimacy. I am nurturing as well as direct, trusting in your ability to change. I want to work with people who are ready to roll up there sleeves, break painful patterns, and begin healing.
I am trained in mindfulness therapies, CBT, multiple couples approaches, and a certified EMDR trauma therapist. I use these and other modalities, in combination with empathic listening and homework assignments to help clients move forward. I can teach you straight forward tools to effectively and compassionately assess and resolve even the hardest issues.
As a seasoned therapist with over 20 years experience, I strive to create a safe place where one can heal and understand self-limiting destructive patterns. My mission as a therapist is simple: be respectful and help you feel better as quickly as possible.
