As a marriage and family therapist, I have worked with families, couples, and individuals on a number of emotional and relational issues. I have helped clients work through things such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidality, identity and relational issues. My clients want hope and peace. They want to heal relational wounds and become healthy again.
In order to help my clients have hope and meet their goals, I use elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). For couples and families I focus first on communication and use elements of Gottman and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
