I believe you know what you want and need, and it’s my job to help you get there. I am not here to judge you or lecture you, I am simply the support and guidance you may need on your journey. As a South Asian woman and the daughter of immigrants, I have had to overcome my own struggles and know how vital it is to have someone who is supportive.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and have been working in the mental health field for over 15 years. I have experience working with all demographics including children, adolescents, adults and families. I work with many different approaches, including EMDR, which is great for overcoming trauma and phobias.
I like to tell my clients that therapy can mean many things to different people. Some use therapy to rebuild after a traumatic experience, others may feel stuck and need some guidance, still others are unheard and would like to change that.
