Welcome! My wife and I founded Kintsugi Counseling in 2021. The term kintsugi represents Japan's ancient art of repairing broken pottery by mending the areas of breakage with urushi lacquer dusted or mixed with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. For the Japanese, it's part of a broader philosophy of embracing the beauty of human flaws. Kintsugi Consulting and Counseling practice embraces the same philosophy in that life experiences, while some may be difficult, can lead to growth and change. Enjoy less anxiety, depression, or PTSD symptoms, and increased skills and confidence to live your life more fully.
Chae Bybee has helped and supported youth, families and Veterans in their journey to improve their lives.
