Hello, I'm Carey Oster. I want to hear your story and help you work through any hurts burdening you. Life is difficult, and we have seasons where we need someone to journey with us. I will give you unconditional care yet also try to help you broaden your perspective on your story. A slight shift can make a great impact on your understanding of a problem and how to work through it. We will be serious and laugh together. I view hurts through the lens of trauma. We have experienced traumatic events in our lives that we haven't processed. Often we don't consider the pains we've had as trauma, which is understandable, as it is the "norm" of our experience. I have training in EMDR and use Somatic Experiencing and mindfulness to help you work through painful events.
Humility and courage are needed to ask someone for help. We live in a society that says, "Be independent and strong; trust yourself only." People are meant to be connected to other people.
