As a couples therapist, I work with people who want to better understand themselves in the context of their relationships —exploring identity, healing from relational or cultural trauma, or untangling patterns that once worked for them but now feel limiting. Many of the clients I support are BIPOC and/or LGBTQIA2S+ individuals who grew up adapting to environments that didn’t fully accept or understand them. My clients also want more than insight alone—they’re willing to explore new ways of relating to themselves, partner(s) and the world. I help them honor survival parts and explore new ways of being that feel freeing and authentic.
Our work together will gently invite you to make space for your inner experiences instead of battling them or pushing them aside. Rather than trying to "fix" your thoughts or emotions, we’ll learn to make room for them with acceptance and compassion—so they hold less power over you when choosing the life, relationships, and experiences you want to create.
