With almost 30 years of experience, I help clients work through depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal struggles, life transitions (menopause), and personal growth and development while supporting them on their journey to live a more balanced life. My therapeutic approach is person-centered and I work closely with clients to help them connect with their values, and gain personal insight, understanding, and self-compassion.
With a trauma informed mindset, I strive to create a therapeutic environment where, I blend traditional therapeutic approaches with Eastern Philosophies, Yoga asana (postures), mindfulness, and meditation.
The body holds trauma in seven main body parts: pelvis, diaphragm, throat, jaw, hamstrings, shoulders and neck. With the application of therapy, yoga, meditation and mindful attention, we can help the body release underlying trauma so healing can begin. Let's work together to soften and release.
