Hi, I’m Emily — an adolescent-focused therapist who helps teens and young adults (ages 13-26). Whether a young person is wrestling with anxiety, perfectionism, trauma after family change, or simply trying to understand who they are, I meets them with warmth, curiosity, and respect. Together we map the “whys” behind behavior, then practice concrete strategies so teens leave with self-awareness and tools they can use right away.
Why teens?
The teenage brain is in a second wave of rapid wiring, making it the perfect time to shift patterns before they lock in. I’m passionate about guiding teens through this high-stakes window.
My style is collaborative and compassionate. I work closely with teens and their parents, blending insight, neurobiology, and creative exercises so each session feels both like a safe hangout and a meaningful deep dive. Together we uncover the “whys” behind behaviors and then practice concrete strategies, so teens leave with practical skills.
