I work with young children, teens, and parents who are struggling with intense feelings and behaviors and seeking specialized, effective, and holistic therapy to learn practical skills and insight in order to enjoy a happier, healthier life. I help children & adolescents overcome anxiety, ADHD, developmental delays, and sensory issues. I also help parents learn new ways to support their child/adolescent that are specific to the needs of their child. I am very familiar with 504/IEP's and have experience advocating as well as helping create plans that increase school success.
I have specialized training in the field of Infant Mental Health. I've worked with parents and their infants/toddlers to support the parent-child bond, increase resources, and provide psychoeducation. I also have training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, which teaches parents how to use therapeutic play skills to increase children's positive behaviors.
Our social-emotional health is interconnected to our physical health. What sets my work apart from other therapists is I utilize a holistic approach to create a comprehensive picture in order to build a tailored treatment plan. My goal is to collaborate with as many providers in their life (Drs, teachers, OTs etc) to achieve this.
