About
I believe clients are the expert in their journeys, and I am here to empower them along their adventure. I work from a strengths perspective with aspects of mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy. There is so much that happens in life; it’s very easy to become overwhelmed! I believe when we slow down and take it one step at a time, we are able to accomplish goals and establish new coping skills. I aim to create a safe space, whether it’s in an office or around a horse. Your journey is special and deserves to be heard. I meet you where you are, and together we can move forward to achieve your goals!
I graduated from GVSU with my Bachelor’s of Social Work and Master’s of Social work. I have two dogs and am married to my college sweetheart. In my free time, I love reading, taking our dogs for walks, and running. I’ve ridden horses since I was four as a hobby and competitively, and love that my two passions have collided.
I’ve worked with clients from a variety of backgrounds, and love to learn about each and every one as their own individual. My philosophy in life is that there is always room for learning and growth. I believe we both have things to offer in therapy, and can’t wait to meet you!
