Relationship is core to healing. I want clients to feel at home in my office where I create a non-judgmental and non-critical environment for exploration of the client's values and beliefs as a key to opening up the path of healing. My strengths of learner, responsibility, maximizer, developer and harmony are used to engage and connect in relationship. As a trauma informed counselor, I believe getting to the root source of issues maximizes healing while creating safety and stabilization promotes healthy grieving. Current concerns are important and incorporated in the overall treatment plan.
I specialize in symptoms of depression and anxiety that are often rooted in child and adult trauma. These require a safe and stable environment to explore. I am certified in Brainspotting with training in Sand Tray and Structured Trauma and Abuse Recovery and integrate these within the treatment process to provide a diverse client specialized treatment.
Stress and anxiety often can be difficult to deal with when manifested in the body. I offer a network of ways to assist you in building the tools you need to manage anxiety daily, while networking with other professionals to help you discover the treatment needs that bring the best results for you.
