Decades ago, the singer, song-writer Joan Baez wrote these lyrics, "no man is an island, no man stands alone", and as a therapist, it's important to me that clients know they are not alone and recognize that regardless of their issues or struggles, they don't have to live helplessly bound by wounds of the past or present, but they can discover and experience paths to hope, healing, and wholeness.
I am passionate about helping individuals who struggle with trauma, personal failures, and depression. I bring wholistic support through therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, and other tools to help clients experience personal growth and meaning.
Through active listening, non-judgmental support, appropriate validation, and gentle challenge, I offer empathic acceptance and a freedom for clients to work through feelings and reflective thoughts that lead to improved self-awareness and better relationships with others.

This mindfulness group therapy is a powerful tool through which clients are guided to experience "in-the-moment" relaxation and calm. By coming together in a group setting, clients can benefit from collective support and shared experiences. The group will explore the benefits of mindfulness and its powerful efforts when applied daily or weekly to improve overall well-being. In each session, the group will dive into techniques such as muscle relaxation, deep breathing, guided imagery, and focused thinking to assist in the relief of stress, depression, and anxiety. Clients will develop a greater awareness of the mind-body connection.
