Let’s face it, it’s been rough in this post pandemic world, but you are not alone. We've been diagnosed by social media apps and are learning more about depression, anxiety, lack of emotions or lack of ability to regulate them, generational trauma, and everything in between, but what do we do about it? My clients are the ones tired of letting stuff live in their head rent free and want to challenge those crippling narratives. My clients know they deserve better but may need to work on building confidence to realize they are the writer of their own story.
As a proud Hispanic Millennial woman who has 10 years of experience working on normalizing talking about mental health and lifting the stigma, I am ready to give back to my community as a therapist. I have helped several women (and some men) through body image, depression, anxiety, self improvement, imposter syndrome by helping them re-write their narrative.
I'll be the first to tell you, it will be a challenge, it will be uncomfortable, and it won't even be linear at times, but it will be worth it. As a therapist, I will challenge you but I will also be there to support you. My goal is to first do no harm but more than that, it is to help you stop surviving and start living.
