I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Maine and Virginia with extensive experience in mental health and child welfare. I believe that while we are all impacted by traumatic events and serious life stressors, these experiences can ultimately make us stronger. My goal is to help people find the strength and joy that can come from healing the wounds left by these events. I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families, bringing a warm and friendly approach to this important healing process.
I am trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral treatment and motivational interviewing skills. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of New England and my Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Gordon College.
With a background in interscholastic and intercollegiate athletics as both a player and coach, I have also competed professionally (WNFL) and in the Senior Olympics. My experience includes working with college and Olympic athletes to help them improve their personal lives and positively impact their athletic performance.
