About
Choosing a therapist is not always an easy process. Often when looking for a therapist, you are facing immediate difficulties. Making the step to look for a therapist is a very important and brave beginning in reaching your ultimate goal of improving your well-being and quality of life. Therapy works best in an environment of trust and openness. Therefore, feeling comfortable with who you confide in is very important. I welcome any questions you may have as you decide what may benefit you.
I have worked in various clinical settings including community clinics, assisted living facilities, forensic settings and currently now in private practice.
My current treatment approach is eclectic including practical cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness-based techniques. I work with long-term clients who seek ongoing assistance as well as short-term clients who prefer a brief solution-focused approach. I emphasize genuine caring and warmth and tailor treatment to each individual.
