I've had a wide range of counseling experience in working with individuals, families, and groups. I've dealt with a wide range of issues that includes but are not limited to substance abuse, anger management, ADHD, depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, and conflict issues. I utilize various counseling modalities that are reflective of the client's needs.
Sometimes I might assign homework assignments in between sessions in order to provide that extra support in helping the client to reach their goals. I provide unconditional positive regard and try to make the client feel that all is not lost. For me, it's about empowering the client "one talk at a time."
