About
I have nearly 20 years of clinical experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and addiction in various treatment settings. Diversity and multicultural issues are embedded in everything we do and contribute to presenting problems and the ways we navigate them. I am conscious of varying decision-making preferences, the role of family dynamics, stage of life, socioeconomic status, and issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity. As well as the stigma associated with seeking mental health services.
Life is complicated. Thus, I want you to know that you are not alone in experiencing high levels of stress, depression, or anxiety that may prevent you from connecting with others or living a meaningful way. I utilize a person-centered and strengths-based approach that fosters self-empowerment.
If you are caught in an endless cycle of wanting to make positive changes but experience undesirable results and need help exploring and processing those dilemmas, please contact me today so we can begin your healing process.
