Hello. My name is Dr. Light and I am a clinical psychologist. I have been in practice for over 20 years. My goal is to help my clients resolve their current, and past struggles, to reach their full potential. I have a well-rounded theoretical approach including cognitive-behavioral therapy, client-centered therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma counseling amongst many others. I have worked with a variety of clients from school-aged children to elderly in nursing homes facing end-of-life issues. I have experience with forensic psychology, individual therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, and group therapy.
My focus is to make my clients feel understood and heard, in a supportive and respectful environment. I encourage growth and will respectfully challenge clients to promote change at a comfortable pace. All therapeutic goals are created between the client and myself. The client's goals are always the priority.
