I engage with individuals by meeting them where they are. My practice focuses on clients with a history of trauma, or with problems related to mood or anxiety. I aim to help clients learn about themselves, and how to respond to life rather than react to it.
I have been a practicing mental health counselor for 18 years. With additional degrees in biochemistry and massage therapy, I approach mental health with a holistic and integrative viewpoint. I have experience with trauma-focused treatment, CBT, DBT, and am certified in nutritional and integrative mental health.
I believe human beings have within themselves what they need to heal and thrive. I aim to help my clients discover, build and foster the strengths and resources to overcome their problems, find balance, and engage fully in living their lives.
