Hi there, I'm Kimberly! I am a licensed Marriage and Family therapist in CA No. 121415. In therapy, my unbiased therapeutic approach takes the form of cognitive behavior and talk therapy, however, I am experienced in life with prenatal and postpartum care as well as a holistic and integrative approach. My most common therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavior therapy, however, I also pull from solution-focused therapy and client-centered therapy.
Goals are an important part of therapy in order to create meaning and purpose in a session. However, goals can be as open-ended as being able to communicate feelings better, which is often the motivation of those seeking talk therapy.
I am friendly and positive. I tend not to leave blank or uncomfortable empty space in a session, talking as much or as little as needed to help move clients forward and through a session. Clients should expect to feel a sense of connection and an eager desire to continue therapy on a weekly basis.
