Providing therapy for anxious "tweens", teens, and twenty-somethings for the past 24 years. When one member of a family is struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, substance abuse, or overwhelming stress, it can have a devastating impact on both the individual and the family members who love them.
Therapy is designed to provide space and time to examine thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. We work toward regulating emotions and developing coping strategies that foster mental wellness.
My training allows me to use an integrative approach to treatment. Improving mental health includes a thorough assessment of social, emotional, physical, and psychological strengths and weaknesses. Building on a strengths perspective, I utilize Positive Psychology (study of happiness) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy as a framework for our work together.
