I am a board certified forensic psychologist, and my psychology practice focuses on evaluation and consultation. I conduct forensic psychological evaluations for the courts in both criminal and civil matters on issues including competency to stand trial, capacity to waive Miranda rights, criminal responsibility ("insanity") and other mental health defenses, risk assessment, mitigation, personal injury, disability claims, fitness for duty, diagnostic clarification, and malingering/response styles. I DO NOT conduct child custody evaluations or other evaluations for family court.
I have been qualified as an expert in forensic and clinical psychology in the courts of four states as well as in federal court, and I have provided expert witness testimony over 60 times. I have also co-authored multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals on various issues related to forensic psychology.
