Hi, my name if Kim Gunderson, and I have worked as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for 23 years.
I have worked with middle school kids in a school setting, supervised incoming trainees at Cal State, University Fullerton, and have concurrently worked in private practice with a variety of individuals, couples, and families. You are the expert of you! I work collaboratively and aid in helping you identify underlying themes that may be adding to your distress.
Our first session will focus on understanding what prompted you to reach out, what your goals are, and your current coping mechanisms.
I was raised in an interactive family, who focused on helping others with kindness as an essential role in communication.
