We all go through times when stress or life circumstances become overwhelming. I want you to know, you are not alone. I seek to provide a safe, judgement free space for you to unburden yourself and move towards a place of peace and wellbeing. I am experienced in working with individuals struggling with anxiety disorders, bi-polar disorders, grief and loss, OCD, self-esteem and life transition issues. I am also experienced assisting mothers as they journey through various postpartum concerns and have completed training in exposure and response prevention therapy for the treatment of OCD, phobias, and other anxiety disorders.
I earned my bachelors in Psychology with an emphasis in Crisis Counseling and my masters in Mental Health Counseling. I use a strengths based approach and combine evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills to assist clients in finding new ways to move forward with more confidence and acceptance of themselves.
I enjoy working with adult individuals of all ages, backgrounds and faiths. I have worked in a variety of settings serving clients who are struggling with their mental health diagnoses, trauma or the challenges of everyday life.
