Clients who know they want something more or different for themselves, but aren't sure how to begin or get there, are clients I find myself drawn to. I love to work with those who have long-standing issues they have tried to address in a variety of ways but have been disappointed by their progress or the help they have received. I like working with the complexity and nuance of a person's experience and am not interested in treatment that looks the same across clientele.
As a psychodynamic psychotherapist, I place a high value on our connection and your agency and choice in the therapeutic process. I draw from multiple modalities and sources in our work which often include neuroscience, attachment theory, internal family systems, narrative therapy, depth psychology, systems theory, object relations, and existential therapy.
