Hello. My name is Kimberly Cervantes, LMFT. I use a Strength-Based Model approach to counseling and life while giving ideas for managing and changing problems/issues that come up in life. Guide people through the path of healing life's wounds and bring their relationship more joy and satisfaction. I am comfortable working with a wide, unlimited scope of client issues. I combine several Theories of counseling in my practice including "Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy", "Imago Relationship Therapy", "Solution Focused Therapy" and Family Systems Therapy".
I use a soft but assertive approach to listen effectively to what the client wants to express while guiding them towards healing, and giving suggestions that are proven to create a happier more satisfying life.
I had a challenging relationship with my mother which impacted my mental health and my path towards becoming a Therapist helped to heal the wounds and gave me a deeper understanding of myself.
