As people, we often build walls or layers of stone as a protection to life's sometimes rocky terrain. In therapy, I offer safety, compassion, empathy, and deep listening in an almost sacred way for softening to occur and healing to begin. It is an honor to witness this process. Each person is truly unique with their own lived experiences in the world. Therefore, therapy is not a one size fits all technique. It is individualistic. I utilize an integrative approach to wellness. In short, I draw from various modalities to provide treatment for the whole person.
My perspective as a somatic experiencing practitoner and yoga teacher provides a holistic view to mental health and clients often gain practical tools to use. From the foundation of a quality therapeutic relationship, I offer a relational approach often incorporating nutrition, lifestyle, mindfulness, body awareness and yoga psychology.
