About
I find it useful to combine your goals for change as well as the aim to get to know yourself better as the foundation for therapy. My training in trauma and LGBTQ+ informed care is foundational to my work with you. I have training and experience working with many different presenting issues and identities, as well as clients' support systems (partners, parents, families, children.) I work relationally with individuals, families, and couples.
We all come to relationships with particular attachment styles, family histories, trauma experiences, identities, and expectations. Add life’s stressors to the mix, and at times we find ourselves needing some extra support. I believe that the intersection of cultural identities inform each of our experiences, which is always at work, always relevant.
I routinely provide consultation and trainings to mental health professionals and school professionals in clinical and educational settings on providing LGBTQ- and transgender/nonbinary- affirmative care, as well as provide psychological testing and assessment services (ADHD testing, academic/achievement testing, diagnostic clarification.)
