Therapy is a process of "endless releasing" of what no longer serves us. I am client centered, supporting your resilience and innate wisdom. I am honored to share your journey and believe therapy is sacred work, transforming old patterns, healing wounds and moving into a healthier future. I specialize in Anxiety, Panic and Trauma. I am a Certified EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) Therapist, Coach and Consultant, having successfully used EMDR with clients for the past 15 years. I utilize multiple physiological therapies, such as EFT, Somatic Resourcing, Ego State Work and Thought Field Therapy.
I focus on building coping skills, calming exercises, self-regulation, new thinking, etc. I encourage insight into physical and emotional responses, as bodily symptoms are highly informative and "hold" our traumatic experiences. Shifting your relationship with emotions, thoughts and body sensations can dramatically transform your experience in the world.
As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, relational work is very important. Marital therapy, as well as individual therapy, can drastically influence a family system and multiple generations. I use an eclectic mix of various interventions to meet client's needs and improve the status of couple and family relationships.
