Hi! Welcome to Inner Light Counseling Services! My name is Kimberley Sterling. If you are looking for some assistance, I am glad you found me! If you would like to know more, here is a little of my background information. I have a Master's Degree in Counseling and Higher Education from the University of North Texas in Denton. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, and am fully trained in EMDR therapy. I work with clients from many different backgrounds, and have experience counseling individuals from age 6 and up, as well as couples and families. Please note, I am practicing only via video/teletherapy at this time.
My specialty of focus is trauma counseling, but I also have an extensive history of helping with anxiety and depression, as well as relationship difficulties and adjusting to life’s challenges. My counseling style is one of compassion and caring, and I my desire is to help clients find practical, achievable solutions to work on their desired goals.
My purpose is not to walk ahead of you, telling you where to go, nor is it to walk behind you, picking up the pieces, but rather to walk beside you, giving you support on your healing journey and working collaboratively with you to find solutions that work for you!
