About
I work primarily with adults and use cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based techniques. Research has shown both of these programs to be helpful in improving our emotional wellbeing. Cognitive behavioral therapy can help to identify and change unhelpful thinking habits that cause us unnecessary suffering. Mindfulness boosts happiness, reduces anxiety and depression, and can help maintain healthy lifestyle habits such as diet and exercise.
I have over 10 years of experience providing psychotherapy for adults experiencing depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. I can help you find ways to improve relationships, adjust to loss or change, or improve how you see yourself.
People of all identities are welcome and I will always provide a safe space for you to be yourself and feel understood in your experiences. I’m here to listen and will help you build on your strengths to get through hard times and thrive. Feel free to reach out if you’d like to learn more or are ready to get started!
