About
My practice "Culturally Competent Compassionate Counseling" seeks to respect, encourage and support the pursuit of personal growth and fulfillment of all individuals, regardless of age, race, sexual orientation and socioeconomic status. Life is trying in the best of times. My job as your therapist is to listen without judgement, support your pursuit of your self identified goals and gently challenge you to live your best life. In addition to my private practice, I am also an E A P professional and Administrator on the Office of Mental Health CIRT Team at South Beach Psychiatric Center.
All ages welcome. Specialize in couples and individual therapy, family work and groups( when possible). I have varied interests and work with those diagnosed on the autism spectrum, LGBTQAI community, marital/infidelity issues, eating disorders, self esteem issues, as well as addiction and recovery.
My practice accomplishes the tasks of allowing individuals to work at their own pace without judgement while receiving exceptional treatment, professionalism, courtesy and respect. Sometimes we need help to push ourselves to function at our best and pursue life long dreams. Now is the time to start down the path to self fulfillment. It's never to late .

Social Skills Groups for Children
This dynamic interactive group will allow youngsters to work on enhancing their communication skills, both receptive and expressive; improve their social/emotional awareness skills, teach appropriate social behaviors ,and build on self esteem and confidence. Certificate of completions given to all who complete the cirriculum.
Anger Management
This group will focus on helping participants develop appropriate ways to express their anger, identify challenges to the healthy expression of anger, explore past maladaptive techniques ,enhance effective communication and build on self esteem and confidence with respect to interpersonal relationships.
