I believe in the healing potential of therapy. I respect the sanctity of the therapeutic partnership and find it an extraordinary privilege to play a collaborative role in the healing process. I work with a broad age-range of clients in individual, couples, and family therapy focused on issues including depression, anxiety, relational conflict, and behavioral problems. I ALSO HAVE SPECIALIZED TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE with ATTACHMENT TRAUMA, SEXUAL and RITUAL ABUSE, and POSTTRAUMATIC and DISSOCIATIVE DISORDERS. Finally, I am adept at providing comprehensive psychological assessments.
I began working with children and families in 1998--in school and residential settings; and juvenile justice and foster care systems. In private practice, I continue to maintain my commitment to specialized and ongoing training and expertise, particularly in the understanding and treatment of children and adults with trauma and dissociative disorders.
Beyond professional expertise, a breadth of life experiences---both joy and trauma---inform my practice. WE ARE STRONGER THAN WE KNOW. (Regarding fee and payment, please note: My fee for a 50-minute session is $175; and while I do not work with insurance companies, I provide an invoice which enables you to receive reimbursement. I accept checks or cash.)
