My mission is to provide empathetic, strengths-based counseling for those facing depression, anxiety, and overwhelming life changes. I help individuals heal from trauma, build self-trust, express their truth, and embrace their authentic selves. I will support you through critical life transitions—such as parenting, divorce, caregiving, and menopause—by focusing on empowering you in relationships, careers, and health. My goal is to help you gain a clear understanding of your values, interests, skills, strengths, and requirements for moving forward to live the fullest life you can imagine.
My counseling approach is client-centered, collaborative, relational and feminist. The therapeutic approaches I incorporate are EMDR Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Therapy focuses on trauma processing, “parts work," acceptance and self-compassion, emotional regulation and distress tolerance.
I approach my work with a social justice lens, and I am supportive of folks who have experienced discrimination on the personal and systemic level. As I work with clients, I’m aware of, and acknowledge, my own privilege – I keep it in the forefront of my mind and heart. Come as you are; I welcome and accept you.
