When trauma shows up in daily life—through anxiety, feeling too much or not enough in your marriage, shutdowns, ADHD overwhelm or relationship patterns that feel impossible to change—therapy becomes a place to finally understand what’s happening inside. Many clients come in wondering, Why do I react so strongly? Why do I feel alone even in relationships? Why do I shut down when I care the most? Trauma therapy can help make sense of these patterns by looking at childhood experiences, attachment wounds, and the nervous system’s survival responses. Learn not to over explain or people please in relationships.
Maybe you long for closeness but fear being abandoned or betrayed. Old wounds can surface in subtle ways: withdrawing during conflict, overthinking every interaction, or trying to keep the peace just to feel loved. Therapy provides a safe space to explore these patterns, and learn new ways to relate in your romantic relationships, family and friendships.
Behind the noise of couples arguments and hurtful words are deeper questions “Do you see me? Do I matter to you? Will you be there when I need you?” Through Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples, we uncover these fears, heal attachment wounds, and build secure, loving relationships through trauma-informed care rooted in the hope and grace of Jesus Christ.

Groups
RRP Online Group
Group work centers on relational healing through the Relational Reparenting Process (RRP), an experiential model for childhood trauma. RRP views each person as a system of an adult self (present-day) and a child self (past pain). Many adults still operate from childhood wounds, repeating patterns shaped by dysfunction. In group, we create space for truth-telling, connection, and compassionate reparenting. As members learn to care for their inner child and support one another, trust and intimacy are rebuilt. Healing in community allows the wounded child to step back, no longer needing to navigate life through fear or survival
