Sometimes life events throw us into a tailspin & other times it may seem like nothing at all has occurred but life isn't what it should be. Regardless of how you got there, therapy can be a safe place to figure things out, get unstuck, & move forward towards a better life. I specialize in working with adults and adolescents on the everyday problems that get in the way of really living life.
I have been licensed since 2001 & have extensive experience working with individuals and groups, focusing on anxiety (Social Anxiety & OCD), depression, and trauma/abuse. My style is warm, direct, and active, and treatment is focused and highly individualized, with the goal of improving daily functioning as quickly as possible.
Engaging in this life changing process can be scary. My goal is to create a collaborative & supportive environment where you feel safe to delve into whatever issue brings you to treatment. I have the experience to know when we need to explore slowly, as well as when it is time to push, challenging old patterns & creating the path to a more fulfilling life.
