About
My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, trusting, and collaborative environment for clients to work through difficult experiences and achieve growth. I honor the uniqueness of each of my clients and provide a space in which they can explore how their past experiences may be impacting their current relationships, thought patterns, and view of themselves. Whether you are dealing with a traumatic experience, anxiety, disordered eating, or are just feeling “stuck,” together we will work to enhance your ability to cope, so that you can achieve a more balanced and fulfilled life.
My approach to therapy centers on fostering an authentic therapeutic relationship where one can be vulnerable and feel accepted. I combine this with utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), as well as incorporating mindfulness and mind-body practices.
My goal is for my clients to gain insight into unhelpful patterns, and to acquire tangible skills to use throughout their life. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the process, or would like to schedule a free consultation. I look forward to walking this path alongside you!
