Are you having trouble recovering pieces of yourself that you once loved? Do you want to regain power and control? If so, I'm here to help! I specialize in treating individuals who are struggling with various presentations of OCD, as well as survivors of trauma, and specifically religious trauma. I also treat those struggling with body image issues/changes, low self-esteem, life transitions, and mood disorders. I want to help individuals feel that safety, power, and control don't have to be taken away from them forever, and I want to help you reclaim the narrative over your own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
I have experience and training working with several presentations of OCD, as well as utilizing interventions such as ERP and I-CBT to reduce the distress that comes with intrusive thoughts, and decrease compulsive behaviors. I also support clients in correcting emotional experiences affected by religious stress and trauma through various cognitive therapies.
I believe in empowering individuals to reflect on barriers in their lives, and uplifting the strengths they currently possess to overcome these barriers. I believe in practicing self-compassion during difficult periods of our lives, and am committed to working with you to improve your sense of self in the hopes of leading a life you love.
