I believe there are always options. We may not see them or if we do see them, we may not know how or be able to get past some factors which may limit us making different choices. My treatment approach is to work with you on how to effectively approach those choices and identify the outcomes you desire for your life. I see my role as believing in you and supporting you as we work together to remove past and present barriers so your life can be more of what you want it to be.
I have worked in the mental health field for over 30 years in a variety of settings, including hospitals and outpatient community centers. Areas of specialty include, trauma work (specialized focus in-depth molest dynamics), mood disorders, domestic violence, grief and loss, self-harm, sexual orientation and eating disorders.
A specialty myself and Toni Garcia, ASW, provide is Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP). EAP is a collaborative effort between a therapist, a horse professional and horse(s). Unfortunately, when Covid occurred, we had to close our EAP program. We hope to resume it later this year. Thank you for your patience. EAP is private pay.

Adult Women's Group
Toni, my equine partner (see Toni page on website for more information) and I offer an Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) group that focuses on Adult Women's issues such as life choices/decisions, family/family of origin, trauma impacts, relationships and interaction styles, in addition to issues clients bring. This group takes place on the 2nd Sunday of the month in Pilot Hill. NOTE: DUE TO COVID, ALL EAP WORK IS SUSPENDED.
