My greatest reward as a therapist has been helping individuals gain self-awareness and self-confidence to make changes and overcome life's challenges. I believe we can all benefit from having someone to talk to, who listens, without judgment. Taking the initial step to engage in therapy can be difficult. I attempt to provide a laid back and safe environment for clients to begin addressing issues preventing them from living the life they deserve. I pride myself on establishing rapport with my clients, at the onset of sessions, with a strong, collaborative, and therapeutic relationship, based on honesty and trust, to reach identified goals.
Experienced with helping adult and mature teens overcome feelings of anger, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, codependency issues, substance abuse issues, and relationship/marital issues, I primarily use a Cognitive Behavioral Approach, technique that values the relationship between how an individual thinks, feels, and behaves.
