Hi, I'm Kim and I am excited you have found my page. I love working with adults to find their passion in life and remove blocks that are keeping them from being their most awesome self. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida in private practice in the beautiful Navarre, Florida area. I have been a Mental Health Counselor for more than 10 years. I absolutely love what I do and hope that I can assist you with your life issues and find joy in your life!
I have worked with clients with addictions, anxiety, depression, PTSD, adjustments in life, grief and a wide variety of other mental health issues. I utilize a variety of therapies including CBT, DBT, stress management, increasing self worth, mind/body connection, 12 step work, assertiveness training, mood management, anxiety reduction, and many others.
I want to be a breath of fresh air for my clients. My approach is interactive, warm and accepting. My job is to give clients the care they need, tasks to focus on between sessions and tools to learn coping skills. Nothing makes me happier than helping clients feel better about themselves.
