About
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist/ Neuropsychologist working with people to improve their general health and well- being. My approach is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy to empower people to face life's challenges and gain a unique understanding of themselves and their environment. Mindfulness skills and habit training are significant components of my practice as well. I believe healthy lifestyle changes and strong coping strategies are important skills that can be learned and ultimately used to increase one's capacity to live a happy, healthy and meaningful life.
I obtained my doctoral degree at Nova Southeastern University. I completed my internship at the University of Missouri Health Science Consortium. I continued my training as a post doctoral fellow at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York specializing in Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation. I worked with patients and their families throughout recovery.
I am a solo practitioner and place importance on a personalized approach to care. I provide education along with treatment choices to work with each individual to meet their identified needs. While working on immediate issues, I also challenge individuals to look beyond current obstacles in order to reach personal goals.
